The photos are just gorgeous, and I love the coincidences. I chose to take a year off from university and go to China, when I came back my husband was in his first year at the same university. If I hadn't left we would never have met.

I love your writing. It is so peaceful and calming. I found your blog after a post on Knitter's Review. I, too am in upstate NY. I am near Rochester. So glad you like it here.

You write so wonderfully about the people in your life. You are rich!

I love that little stocking, it's so cute! Makes me want to knit some mini stockings to hang up, too. Like I don't have enough projects for Christmas... :)
We don't really have that tradition of hanging up stockings here in Sweden, but I think it's really nice.

Love reading your blog and looking at the pictures, it makes me feel I am right there. I love the berries. Can't wait to see the elf stocking patterns, and the book.

I'm feeling a little over Christmased already, but your great words help me remember all the things I love about the holidays.

My father-in-law had alzheimer's too. Sometimes it's merciful. Seems your mother-in-law has very good memories to sustain her. And who cares if they're a liitle "off"? At least they're good! I love your bag pattern! Thank you! And your little Elf Stocking is just too cute! Here's to remembering and making good memories!
