Somewhere north of here there is a place where a gazillion little elves are working around the clock to help a jolly ol’ guy in a red suit create some magic that will bring happiness and joy to a great many children and other human beings.

Their effort will be worthwhile, no matter how hard they have to work in getting there. Memories of the magic they create will live on in the hearts and minds of those who experience it for years to come.

They will make a difference, those elves and that jolly ol’ guy in the red suit.

Today I pulled out my husband’s grandfather’s compass, for I am looking for that place somewhere north of here.

  1. Indeed the sled will be flying around the world soon. How wonderful that your Christmas will soon be blooming with the joy of a youngster’s enthusiasm. As we age we miss those moments of sheer wonder that only the young can bring to the holiday.
